NinjaFlex TPU 3D Printing Filament – 3mm .75kg – WATER

NinjaFlex flexible filament leads the industry thanks to its superior flexibility and longevity compared to non-polyurethane materials. Its consistency in diameter and ovality (roundness) outpaces other polyurethane materials.

Made from a specially formulated thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material, this patented technology boasts a low-tack, easy-to-feed texture. The result is uniquely flexible, strong prints ideal for direct-drive extruders.

Suggested Applications: Seals, gaskets, plugs, leveling feet, protective applications.

  • Extruder Temperature:  225°C – 235°C
  • Platform Temperature: Room temperature – 40°C
    Glue and/ or blue painters tape is suggested if not using a heated bed.
  • Print Speed: 
    Top and bottom layers: 10-20 mm/ sec (600-1200 mm/ min)
    Infill speeds: 15-35 mm/ sec (900-2100 mm/ min)
    Layer 2+ use cooling fan if available.

  1. hard to get it going but perseverance pays off Print very slowly. Less than 20mm/s. Use a bit more retraction than normal (1.5mm or so) to eliminate stringing. Non-print moves can remain fast. It cannot handle any kind of unexpected pressure in the nozzle so make sure you’ve completely cleared any ABS and that your printer is fully balanced. Excessive pressure leads to buckling.It prints with a bit of a sheen to it and has a very mild odor. Also, it’ll rip the kapton tape right off your plate so if you can print on a…

Here are my recommendations to get near perfect prints on the Ultimaker 2 and other Ultimaker printers.Never has a 3D Printer filament annoyed me more than this Ninjaflex has, after weeks and weeks of fine tuning and perfecting loading and print settings I was finally able to get it working.With the Ultimaker 2 I highly suggest you use the Olsson Block and get a large diameter nozzle, larger than 0.4mm.
